2022 awardees of the Help Musicians Record/Release fund, ‘Aspyrian’ are a London-based trio blending jazz with an array of folk music traditions from different corners of the world. Influenced also by an eclectic mix of soulful songwriters and alternative bands, the result is an ensemble sound that is captivating and truly unique.

Since their sold-out show at the 2022 EFG London Jazz Festival, Aspyrian have been fast gaining a reputation as one of the most exceptional acts to emerge on the UK Jazz Scene in recent years.  Their recent debut album release – ‘to explore (vol. 1)– demonstrates the trio “creating a distinctive and expressive sound” and “[evokes] the freedom of spirit through their combined writing and performing.” (Mike Gates, UK Vibe).
